Strata collects no data. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. It makes no network requests of its own.
Everything you record or import stays in your own storage: projects are saved to your iCloud Drive (or on-device if you are signed out of iCloud), where only you and Apple's iCloud service can access them under Apple's own privacy terms. Nothing is ever sent to us — we have no servers.
Deleting a project in Strata, or deleting the app's folder in the Files app, removes those files from your iCloud Drive.
Strata asks for microphone permission solely to record your tracks. Audio from the microphone (or a connected USB microphone or interface) goes only into the project files you create. You can revoke this permission at any time in Settings.
